Foundation of MÜNZING by Friedrich Michael Münzing, first producer of sulfuric acid in Germany, in the following years utilization of lipolysis for production of stearic acid & soaps, production of leather and textile additives
New production factory opens in Heilbronn, Germany for manufacturing additives used in the leather and paper industry
Start of joint venture with DIAMOND SHAMROCK ("NOPCO") for the production and distribution of additives for paints, paper, adhesives and other industries
End of the joint venture with DIAMOND SHAMROCK, investment in new production facilities and a new research and development center
North American headquarters opens with office and technical service center in Bloomfield, NJ (USA) expanding coverage and value-added services in the Americas

Acquiring Magrabar in Morton Grove, IL (USA) allows growth in manufacturing additives for the food industry.
MÜNZING opens new global headquarters and administration center in Abstatt, Germany. The construction was completed with an emphasis on energy efficiency, sustainability and resource conservation for offices and state-of-the-art laboratories.

Acquisition of subsidiaries in Malaysia and Australia provides MÜNZING with the capability for local production and customer support in the APAC/Oceania territory.

Plant expansion and brand-new production facility in Elsteraue, Germany provides the ability to produce more than 10,000 tons of water-based wax emulsion and powders primarily used in the construction industry.
Opens new production plant and R&D facility in Bukit Selambau, Malaysia after a three-year project and construction period. Further expansion of global presence by opening two new sales offices in Italy and South Korea.
