MÜNZING CHEMIE GmbH was founded at this site in 1830. As the company expanded, the office buildings were spun off in 2014, but Heilbronn is still one of our most important production sites worldwide, with an annual output of approx. 25,000 tons.

In addition to production, the associated analytics, sample department, production planning, internal logistics as well as maintenance, and the project department are located here.

Around 600 different products from the series AGITAN®, AGITAN® DF, AGITAN® P, DEE FO®, EDAPLAN®, FENTAK®, FOAM BAN®, LUBA-print®, LUBARIT®, METOLAT®, METOLAT® P, OMBRELUB, TAFIGEL®, and UMBRELLIT are produced with annual quantities of 500 kg to 1000 tons.

These are defoamers, dispersants, wetting agents and leveling additives, thickeners, wax emulsions, powder defoamers and additives for wood processing. At the site, mixtures, esterifications, neutralizations, sulfations, polymerizations, hydrosilylations, bisulfite additions and various methods for homogenizing emulsions and dispersions under pressure or under atmospheric conditions are carried out in 6 production areas that are largely designed for the handling of flammable substances. A large number of reactors in the range of 70l - 27,000 l with associated tank farms, a cooling and heating system from -10 °C to 240 °C and a team of 85 employees are available, who work continuously to meet the requirements of our customers.
