METOLAT® 388

METOLAT® 388

EMEA · America · Asia/Oceania

Product Details

METOLAT 388 is a low foaming wetting agent which is suitable for many aqueous and non-aqueous systems. It improves the pigment dispersion in emulsion paints especially with pigments which are difficult to disperse. METOLAT 388 prevents flocculation of the particles caused by emulsifier migration after long storage of the paint or through a mechanical or thermal shock. METOLAT 388 is biodegradable and is recommended specifically for environmental safe systems. METOLAT 388 is suitable for wire drawing.

Technical Information

Alternatives to Fluorosurfactants

Fluorosurfactants are highly efficient at lowering surface tension and MÜNZING offers various additives that provide functions that perform similarly to fluorosurfactants. Since 1:1 direct replacement may not be possible MÜNZING offers products that may be used in combination to achieve the desired properties.
