METOLAT® 390

METOLAT 390 is a dispersing and wetting agent for organic pigments in aqueous media free of organic solvents. It is ideal for the manufacturing of aqueous coatings systems based on polymer solutions and / or polymer emulsions (air dry and force dry, 2K-systems) as well as for the manufacturing of aqueous resin-free pigment concentrates. METOLAT 390 stabilises dispersed organic pigments and reduces the mill-base viscosity. Gloss and colour development are improved and reflocculation is prevented.

EDAPLAN 396 is a VOC-free wetting agent and dispersant for laked azo pigments in aqueous media. EDAPLAN 396 is also recommended for organic pigments (e.g. phthalocyanine pigments) and nanoscale, transparent iron oxides and titanium dioxides as well as for carbon blacks. It can be used for the production of coating systems based on polymer emulsions and water-soluble resins (air and oven drying, 2K systems) as well as for the production of aqueous and glycol-containing, binder- free pigment concentrates. EDAPLAN 396 stabilizes pigment dispersions and reduces the mill-base viscosity. Gloss, colour strength and hiding power are improved and reflocculation is prevented.
